Springbok is my personal fave, and I prefer the vintage ones to most of the designs today. Their pieces lock and don't come apart easily.

And I recently discovered another vintage puzzle from RoseArt - Hometown Collections. I found a bunch at a local thrift shop and really enjoyed doing them. The images are folkart-ish and cozy, and they were not too hard either.

Not sure if they're making new ones, but I often see vintage jigsaws on eBay, and I see them listed on the big A as well.

Thanks for this thread! It reminded me that I wanted to buy a jigsaw puzzle for my daughter, but knew nothing about the various manufacturers. Happy to say I just ordered "The Cosy Shed," by Ravensburger.

For years now, I've been buying (too many) puzzles from Puzzle Warehouse. Great selection, good service. During the pandemic, they could get my favorite comic Heye and Jumbo puzzles from Europe, but no one had them. The company did their best during the hardship and then came back well. There is a loyalty program and free shipping for orders over $75, so I stock up when I order..

Just realized Charles Wysocki is a.k.a. 'Heronim' - who is credited with those Hometown Collection puzzles. I really, really like his art for jigsaws - and I usually prefer photos to paintings.

Well, I ordered 1 from The Occurrence, 1 from the New York Puzzle Company, and 1 from Pomegranate. We'll see how they go. I'm really slow at doing them, but I enjoy them.
