I have had this grandfather clock since 1986 when I was living in Baltimore and my sister and I visited our brother in North Carolina. He found a shop with grandfather clocks and he and my niece had recently bought clocks there. So we went and met the owner and both my sister and I bought clocks as well! The owner of the shop happened to be making a delivery to another person in Baltimore, so he delivered and set mine up personally. It moved with me back to my hometown of Cincinnati in 1998. The moving guys did a great job of packing it up and getting it to me. I do love it and I love the memory of finding it with my siblings. It was a fun trip.

Ooh - tsugajunkie just reminded me we didn't do architecture and the Milwaukee Art Museum is one fabulous example. I took the photo at that angle to fit in those 'wings', which slowly move in sync with the sun to create shadows inside... And I was also thinking we left out photograhy and graphic arts - maybe another round is called for?

eden on one of our trips to the farm store. she was a social butterfly and loved interacting with anyone who wanted to pet her. this particular lady saw her and instantly wanted to give her a hug (i blacked out her face for privacy reasons). she told me she had a great dane when she was a young girl and it made her day to be able to get up and close and personal with one. eden was more than happy to oblige. 💖
