Do my bedroom and bathroom colors have to coordinate?
Comments (11)Angelantix, what did you end up going with in your bedroom/bath? I am in the same predicament now and have looked at all your colors. I'm thinking of weekend getaway for the bedroom and looking for a bathroom color, would love to do beach glass but not sure it will coordinate. Now I'm thinking I should do a neutral in the bedroom and a blue or green in the bathroom. Would love to know how it turned out and if anyone has suggestions for a neutral bedroom color. Our trim is cream and my bedding has I guess like a rust'ish color with green and teal and a little gold in it. thanks in advance, any advice would be helpful! Comments (10)How luck you'd be if your tile was that nice soft tone of pink but often 1950's pink tile is much more bold or pinky beige and usually there is a whole mess of it. Here is a link to pink baths on Pinterest, some with the 1950's pink tile. Maybe you'll see something that inspires you. Maybe post a pic of your bath and tile? This may be a softer pink than your tile, but they really embraced it - I don't think it's tile, but you could carry the pink up the wall and onto the ceiling even, like this: or this with dark gray walls Maybe look for some really bold wallpaper that will take dominance over the tile... There is also a blog called Save the Pink Baths that you may want to look at. Here is a link that might be useful: pink baths...See MoreNeed help coordinating bedroom & bathroom

They are both gorgeous colors and work beautifully together. Comments (9)In my last home my entire family room and kitchen were painted SW CG and my master bathroom was SW SS. BOTH looked very blue in that space. In my new home I had a bedroom done SWSS. In this space it looks very GREEN. Its a beautiful color but I had thought it would be more blue. These two colors are very much affected by light and by yellow light. It completely changes them. I did the master bath in this home in SW Tradewind and I love it! There are so many colors of similar character to go with. A really really pretty color is VALSPAR SEA SALT BLUE. I think you need to make sample boards and try them out and decide of you want more blue more green or more gray. Excuse the paper shades on the window but this is the Tradewind in my new bath.
