What size mirror(s) should I use over a 60” double sink vanity?

Looking at Serena and Lily mirrors

Either one 40x30 or two 22x27

Go with one (framed) 60" mirror. It's neater, brightens the room, and gives you a larger view of yourself and your outfit. Two mirrors are more fussy, break up the view, and are rarely an improvement over a simple single mirror.

I think it depends on the room layout, mirror style & vanity lighting you’re using.

I had a similar situation and I ended up not doing medicine cabinets at all. Medicine cabinets, in my view, seriously limit your flexibility. If you have any ability to build a tall, narrow cabinet somewhere else, you can just do a framed mirror and cut out holes for the sconces. I think that two is plenty for 60". It might be nice to put a soffit over and sink lights into the soffit to add some overhead light. You also might look at the pendant lights. Take a look at Robern's website. They have pretty cool cabinets that open up like a garage door. They show them with the pendants hanging in front.

With a picture framer you tell them the exact size you want and then you pick the exact frame you want. They ask you if you want your mirror with a beveled edge or not. You don't need to settle on what they have already made. You don't need to buy a mirror and take it to them. They make what you want and for no more $$$ than Wayfair.

I have a 8ft vanity in my hall bath. sorry I don’t have a better picture. My sinks are 15x20” in a 24“ sink base. The mirrors 24”x36”. They are Crate and Barrel‘s Colby. Mine are satin nickel but they come in chrome too. They were on sale over the 4th but they’re back to the regular price now. If you sign up for their emails they will give you a discount. My scones are Quoizel’s Kolt. They also come in nickel or polished chrome. I bought them locally but they are available on many lighting websites.

One thing to keep in mind if you're going with Theresa Peterson's recommendation is location of any power outlets, if you have any - need to make sure that they remain accessible. You can always hang the mirror(s) above them, but then the mirror(s) may be too high. I have that issue with my currently remodeled master (this is the "before" photo) - because of the power outlets, and because each mirror needs to be centered with its respective faucet, I cannot do wider mirrors (even though I have the space, theoretically):

Also consider the possibility of using two mirrored medicine cabinets, which add a ton of storage!
