Neutral-ish wall paint to go with SW Pure White trim?
Comments (0)Supposed to pick a couple options for color for my new kitchen's walls tomorrow. But... I'm a paint procrastinator. :( It's my most dreaded decision. I'm doing the ceiling and trim to match the cabinets, but they're stock cabinets, not painted. The closest paint chip match as far as I can tell is SW Pure White. The counters are a leathered black pearl granite and the backsplash is also white. So, I think I'm in a dangerzone if I try to pick a white for the walls. But, some of the wall is wood panelling and I love the look of white panelling. Was thinking maybe Snowbound? I actually recently purchased a pink-toned white for the adjacent room which is very open to this one, so I considered going along with that and doing something pink-ish, but I didn't see a good option in Sherwin Williams. Ackkkk I'm all over the place. HAAAALPPP...See MoreSW pure white vs SW extra white
Comments (51)Amy Sivley, we had our cabinets painted Snowbound with extra white on all the trim. They look like the same color. Its a very stark white. in certain lights the snowbound has a pink hue & the extra white has a blue hue. way to bright for me but I’m stuck with it we did Pure white on our ceilings & love it. I wish i would have picked something that doesnt blind me when I walk in the kitchen. all our trim throughout the house is bright white & Im trying to pick a white for the walls & having trouble.we did Cedar Key in a few rooms & that looks great but I want to try white....See MoreWall Color with SW Pure White Cabinets and Trim

Comments (1)I wouldn't. They're too close in Chroma. Which means neither will make the other look better. Instead you'd most likely end up with two dirty and dingy looking colors of white. The easy option is more Pure White in a different finish (matte) on the walls and leave the ceiling/doors/trim as is....See MoreMichelle Klima
