An inexpensive chopper will work but also time consuming to get to that point. You would need to prep and cut the correct thickness/size, then lay out flat on a cookie sheet and partially freeze, a firm freeze, but not hard. I've done it...after watching a chili cook-off and they swore by small cubed meat. If doing other things in the kitchen, not such a big deal, but i just didn't like that style of chili. (i use my meat grinder and run it through once for chili meat and double grind for hamburgers). The one i'm linking is not the one i used but similar. I ended up match-sticking first, then layed back across and pushing through again. It worked and was speedy but felt overkill when my knife skills are above average. Now it would be handy if you have a kitchen helper, say a friend with zero knife skills and is rather useless, lol, that style push slicer is idiot proof. My best tip is to take at least one roll of film per month and FINISH making the pages from that roll before you finish taking up the next roll! That way you won't get behind on your current album, and in the time between rolls, you can go back and work on old photos, if you aren't caught up with them yet. I guess my point is, unless you keep your current pictures caught up, you are only falling farther and farther behind.

I have been experimenting with all the different cutting tools & have come to the conclusion that I need to buy me a ring saw. I guess I will be selling a lot of my scrapbooking supplies to pay for my new hobby lol. I have also purchased a dremel as a lot of people have had good luck with those as well. No matter what you use,if you are happy with the result then thats all that counts & in any hand made craft, doesn't have to be perfect :) I have a tumbler that I tumble a lot of my cut china & glass with a little sand out of our back yard as we live on a sandhill, works great. Just 1.5 tablespoons per a 3 lb drum takes all the sharp edges off after about 30 minutes for china or pottery & a little longer for glass

Depends upon the grass and, as you discovered, the gardener. Choices beyond hand pruners/clippers/hedge trimmers: An electric hedge trimmer or chainsaw. Both work well on heavy-bladed grasses and large clumps, especially when one ties the grass clump into a big bundle. Tie the clump at 2 or 3 different heights, then make a horizontal cut between the two lowest ties.
