Good morning and a Happy Squirrel Spotting Day to all!

Jasdip, after reading about Sidney and Seymour I’m especially keen on today. What a great story.🐿️

Thanks for the puzzle. I have no ideas for an answer yet.

Rox, I took Sidney and Seymour everywhere with me. I put them in my shirt pocket around the house to keep warm. (they slept on a heating pad in a box otherwise).

I took them with me, in their box to Mom's for Thanksgiving. They had to be fed with a syringe every 2 hours.

Here's something to tell you.......when they got old enough to be released, ex and I took them to a forest. I put a pile of nuts, broccoli, etc at the base of a tree. I then put them on the trunk of the tree. They scampered up.........then they both ran down the tree, up my legs to nuzzle my neck then they took off. I bawled like a baby!!

Well I giess tj got it but to be honest, even with the hint about size I didn’t know what to do with it. The font doesn’t look small to me, about the size of ”TOM COTTONWOOD.” Oh well, it was fun guessing even if it got me nowhwre!

Nay - same as FOAS, I don't think I've ever seen or heard that phrase. I was thinking 'she's on the loose' might be the answer. Thank you for the challenge anyway 🙂 P.S. I do know the phrase 'at loose ends', just not specifically with 'she's'.

Did anybody else ever see the delightful PBS Nature episode about squirrels? Part of it followed a zoologist raising a baby squirrel rescued from a felled tree...
