I'm just not a fan of the bright white. It sticks out like a sore thumb. Any suggestions?

Paint them to match the gable they are supporting.

I’d match the roof brown.

The columns are trim and should be painted to match your other trim. (As they are). The shutter color is an accent and does not need to be repeated.

And, actually, the window on the right doesn’t require shutters. Try taking them off for a new look. You might enhance the appearance of your cute home and down play the yellow tone of your brick by changing the color of your mulch from red to dark brown. And adding landscaping that will elevate the right side of your home. And if your porch floor can be painted, I would also think of deepening that color, too. Play with color apps provided by the major paint companies to try out different colors. Your brick home might look great with the sage green that is gaining in popularity right now. Good luck!

What I can see of the roof, it appears to be brown, not charcoal. To me, its the charcoal that looks way off, and needs to be redone.

@cat_ky Here is a pic showing the roof. I really don't want to plan to match everything to the brown roof color as I'm not a fan of it and it's pushing 20 years old. If I don't sell before replacing the roof I would definitely want to go for black shingles. I really like the way the black goes with the orange & yellow brick so I dont want to change the color of the shutters.

To me the problem is the absence of a beam between the columns and along the sides too. The current design looks unfinished. The beams would be painted to match the columns. White would be good but a warm gray might be OK if it doesnt clash with the beige siding.

Get rid of the 60’s starburst thing.

The columns should match the color of the rake board.

The siding & fascia over the balcony on the side of the house should be the same color as the siding on the gable end on the front of the house.

I don't mind the compass molding on the gable end. Much better than the stupid black plastic cornucopia thing that was on the porch gable end on my house when we bought. That thing is long gone!

I think that looks better, but the white does did relate to your windows. I do agree that having a white beam above the columns would help the white columns look complete. I guess you could leave the columns and paint the gables white, but that would be a lot more work. Or maybe it would help to break the beige up if you did black fascia… also more work than you were aiming for. Super cute house btw :)
