Was not suggesting you clad the brick at all -- just paint it, which is relatively cheap. My other suggestion was to eliminate one of the siding choices on the front (Thereby saving some $). In so much as I can see the right colors better on my monitor and it appears that you like blue, my opinion was that w/the absence of the yellow brick you the darker of the blues would work w/the stone. My comment about the timber ark was related to the question you asked of me earlier when on my iPad it looked as though you had posted brown (timberbark), white, and gray -- thus illustrating the point I attempted to make earlier about the distortion of color in this medium. Your property is so beautiful i can see why you live it. Your home looks like 80s contemporary style. Your brick is fine. The roof change is key. I don’t agree with metal roof for this style home. That look is more country, or traditional/farmhouse look. Not right for your home imo. I would recommend Weathered Wood HD by GAF Timberline shingle. Then once it is on, a nice coordinating color for trim and gutters etc will evolve. Your front door is hidden so select color for that last. A deep gold might look good. A dark color won’t do much for your front facade. So start with roof.

Stone was a foundation material, before we had concrete. When using stone as a decorative element, it is best to use it near the foundation, so it looks authentic and useful - and put it all around the house. Back when stone was used as a building material, it would never be put on one wall, as you've shown. The only time stone would climb up off the foundation is when it was used as fireplace/chimney. That's why folks are objecting to a small wall of stone - and "peel and stick" refers to the fact that it is clearly for show, not structural. 4 exterior materials is 2 too many. The facade looks busy and disjointed - rather than a uniform siding type to bring the elements together, the various materials make the house look like different structures, plopped next to each other.

The Chelsea Building Products website says Everlast composite siding is a mixture of polymeric resin and granular stone. The Intertek Code Compliance Research Report CCRR-0201 says it's made of cellular (foamed) PVC with a chemically bonded acrylic cap (containing the color) with no mention of the granular stone which is probably some kind of stone dust. The report requires the siding to be installed over structural wood sheathing. The 4.5" and 6.875" reveal horizontal lap siding must be fastened every 16" with 2.5" s.s. screws or 2" roofing nails into the wall studs and the 11" reveal vertical board & batten siding must be fastened with 1 5/8" s.s. screws every 7.5" into the wood sheathing (which is a lot of screws).
