Are you saying the wood you have chosen in a walnut stain would be where I see the drawer fronts and the 3 pullout cutting boards?

I see much lighter wood in the inspiration photo for those, but behind the appliance garage does look a little darker.

The paint color of the rest of the cabinets you see in that photo will be hard to replicate in real life since the lighting will be way different. Do you know what color paint they used in the photo? That could be a starting point.

What is your flooring going to be?

Rebunky....correct only the wallnut on a few inserts (Ive attached the drawing from the kitchen guy... the darker cupboards represent the wallnut insert cupboards)....our floors are a light.. off white 600x600 porcelain tile. Unfortunately can't find out the colour .... any suggestions on colours

I don’t think there’s enough contrast.m go a couple shades lighter in the cabinets .

Its a heavy appliance laden wall. id skip the wood insert. the paint w the very light floor and light counters will be enough contrast ….being light w medium … and lots of stainless. focus on bacsplash for interest if you want. porcelain tile w some beautiful features. the mwave and oven look high. cant you get the sink out of the corner? is there an island ? i know you didnt ask but layout issues maybe??

I looked up “mushroom paint colors” and clicked on images and your inspiration kitchen was the first picture that popped up! It might be Mouse’s Back by Farrow & Ball.

You might check out Sherwin Williams Curio Grey in your space as well. They looked pretty close to me, but I am not a paint expert.

I would get some sample pots of paint to try rather then the peel and stick samples. It is just because I worry that the printed color could be a touch off, so I would want to see the actual paint in my space. It is crazy how colors can look so different when in your kitchen’s lighting too.

And as you can see, the online photo above of the mouses back looks different then the one below!

I was looking at your layout. I was just wondering why you don’t put the prep sink under the window verses the corner? Or on the island. Also not sure about the tilt bins for your garbage can? You don’t want the pullout kind?

Rebunky ... tx you for the links .... I'm not a fan of prep sinks in the island so just a personal choice there... the prep sink ... the area under the window counter space needed for my electric kettle coffee station.... I'm loving the pics shared and also thinking with all the appliances on the one side maybe a plain colour on those units would look better and less busy ... then as mentioned maybe the island in walnut... thank you everyone for the ideas 👌🌟

I think the walnut island would be a great contrast to the paint you’re considering. I know you didn’t ask for layout advice, but have you worked at a prep sink in a corner like that before? I had a full sink next to a corner and it was hard to manage because you have such limited room to maneuver. It appears that with the layout you have you’re likely to use that prep sink a lot, so I would try very hard to get it out of the corner. Maybe the coffee station can be moved nearer to the main sink?
