I’ve looked at those styles so many times, Eld, but the physics eludes me. I stll can’t believe they would, or could, work.

I tried one of these bras but didnt find it supportive.

Looks similar to one i bought for surgery recovery since i needed something soft, not my usual underwire. I prefer underwire even though it doesnt have a lot of work to do, if you get my drift. The one i bought does a pretty good job with support. The only thing i dont like is the wide underarm band , which works it way up and cuts.

I bought a cheap bra, thinking i would not wear it after my shoulder is healed, but i think i will.

I like underwires too. For me there's not a lot of support needed, but the tissue needs to be better organized and shaped. 😉

I've been wearing underwires for longer than I can remember now, but after having two different ones break recently after I left the house and was out for dinner, I'm less happy with them. I've had one or two poke out the end before, but these both broke in the middle and were poking out and jabbing me. I ordered 3 new ones in the same style and notice they are being made differently. Wonder if it was a pandemic supply change thing. Looks better now.

The ads I keep seeing are for Third Love and Knix. I have been thinking of trying a different style, but I hate bra shopping. I've never seen this brand.

I have bought Third Love before with mixed results. I only have one currently. It is a black bra that has straps that convert to many different configurations. It is very comfortable. However, the last time I wore it, I could not get one of the strap hooks undone. So, unless I need a black bra with cross-back straps, it is useless.

I'm glad it worked for you. That style was highly recommended by a number of people on a blog I read. I'm small busted with a long torso. When I tried one, it was so unflattering on me that I couldn't get it off quickly enough. The girls ended up in a very weird spot!

For me they do not give enough shape (separation IYKWIM) or support, but I have not tried this brand. However, I am short-waisted (short in height too LOL) and I cannot stand a band. Even with an underwire, I like the ones that do not have a band. There are comfy underwires out there, they are sometimes hard to find. I even ordered some brand I have never heard of off Amazon that I really like.

I, too, bought one after seeing the pop-up ads. For me, its comfortable and ok for wearing with my usual casual tops. If I dress up with more then a knit pullover, I would choose a different bra. There is kind of a uni-boob feature that is not my favorite look. Although once a top is on, the uni is not as apparent. I won’t be buying another.

Simply Be was my go-to online place to buy bras from the UK. During or soon after the pandemic, they announced they were no longer going to be in business. Bummer. Their size "J" UK fit me like no other bras ever did. Then about a couple months ago I came across their site again! However, I called because it appeared they didn't offer a USA option to buy. Yep, they no longer ship to the USA. :(

Wish I knew someone in the UK who could place orders for me, then ship the bras. lol Probably not practical money-wise. Except to have a bra that fits is worth it!

I recently went to a full on bra store and bought one Wacoal which is really good but I can't say I love it. I had finally found my perfect bra about 15 years ago and bought a slew of them. I must have had 15 to 20. I still have about 3 remaining (one, the black one, is still in great shape...hardly worn). Of course you know that the bra was discontinued about 5 years ago and nothing similar. To my amazement it was a Playtex.

Maybe I'll look at those again. I too get pop up ads all the time and I've definitely gotten the ones everyone mentioned...you know where you think oh at last a perfect bra. Then I read reviews and I'm not anxious to try.

I guess I have to look again at those.

I had a good reliable bra that was my go-to for years. Got to my mid 50s, menopause yada yada, not so reliably comfortable any more. Finally found one just recently that I really like! Everyone is different, obvs, but fwiw here’s my new favorite.

The one I have been wearing is a Calvin Klein T shirt bra. I recently realized I no longer have a strapless in my group and probably need to look for one before it's urgent.

I bought HoneyLove brand. they are OK, nothing spectacular. It’s kind of a cross between the Wacoal and wearing a yoga type of bra. So, it’s good when I don’t want to wear a yoga bra but maybe don’t need full underwire.
