2010 was my first year wintersowing. I've grown BB's every year. Our average last frost date is about May 22, and the "safe" plant out date is May 30. We continue to get snow as late as the third week of May. In 2010 I was in a different location. Same city but downtown which is a solid zone 6, due to different elevation plus the thermal mass of the pavement and buildings. In 2010 I planted out April 15 when the sprouts hit the top of the container. In 2011 I planted out May 15th, and in 2012 May 5th. The earlier plant-outs bloomed better than the May 15 planting. Your seedlings are half-hardened. They are already fine in whatever temperatures you have right now. If you haven't had the top of your containers open, they may be a bit soft to go directly out into the wind. Gradually expose them to wind, rain, sleet, etc, and they will be fine. You can plant them in the ground now and put cloches over them to protect them from wind. Easy cloche: milk jug with the bottom cut off, held in place with a stick through the hole where the cap goes. Remember to uncover them for a while each day so the wind can help them get strong.

Thanks for the feedback on the curtains. It sure is easier for me to do....nothing! Of course my dog has already managed to get tangled up in one and pull the entire thing (including rod) off the wall. And in less than 48 hours since hanging too! Thats gotta be some sort of record. Hopefully that doesn't happen again. Geokid, I wanted it your way too, and when we moved in tried to get it set up this way. I was vetoed and since I got to pick placement of every other room, I didn't argue too much. I can't recall the problem....maybe the dresser didn't fit on that wall? Some weird feng shui thing? nosoccormom - that light will likely be replaced with the oh so functional but not always attractive ceiling fan when we get around to it. It's close to a 100 year old house. It's been remodeled/rehabbed but not quite sure of how well it was insulated and how HOT it will get up there. We have lots of pretty windows, but they probably won't help much. Thoughts on a chair? It will obviously have to be small. I would love a pop of color over in that corner (I like color) but am not confident that I will find one that matches the rug. So how would another color like coral look? Too much?

It isn't done yet because we are in stall mode right now! The subway tile was always part of the plan because I love them so much. I thought perhaps I would use a grey grout to tie in the cabinets. We'll see-- I'm going to give it another couple of weeks to think about. Thanks for all the feedback!

What do you mean, "worried about the business"? OH, I think you meant being too busy? My master is fairly large yet not giant by any means, but do have two windows which AM light is good, and that's it. I originally put in three lights that had frosted glass and they didn't offer enough light. Mine are sconces as you probably know now and not over vanity lights. The lights I replaced were long cylindrical lights and took 2 torpedo bulbs per light. Horrible lighting 80 watts total per light and there were three... to be honest I wasn't fond of the lights at all, but got them as my husband liked them as I did the whole plan for decor for the room so let him pick them thinking, "meh"... glad they didn't work :) I think if this is a powder room you might consider this. Look at lights, then bulb sizes so the length doesn't exceed the glass fixture. They do have different bulb sizes. If you are an Amazon member look up the light I copied and pasted and look at some of them. This is not a bath that one would be applying makeup, shaving.... correct?
