I enjoyed fhe first season of Designated Survivor, but for some reason I didn’t watch season two.

I just discovered that my Fire stick gets me Roku, so I’ve been watching, from the beginnings, Alfred Hitchcock Presents and Quantum Leap. I never saw the first episodes of QL so I’m glad to see them now. My dad’s favorite Hitchcock episode was on last night (Joseph Cotten in Breakdown) so that brought a tear to my eye, so to speak. (a reference to the episode) The episode was echoed a couple of decades later on MASH.

We’ve been enjoying The Great Pottery Throw Down on HBO Max.

We quit Designated Survivor after one too many supposedly smart characters did very dumb things. We got halfway thru the second season, I think, before I got tired of yelling at the TV "don't go there, it's a trap, where is your backup, stupid".

We did like the first season and the whole premise.

I keep to British Baking and Queer Eye, we just don't watch more than two hours of TV a day, beyond news.

We have smart Samsung TVs in L.A. and Cathedral City and stream the free channels we get from Samsung, and there appear to be over 100 of those. We mostly watch Dateline and Unsolved Mysteries, but other channels that we get that I watch include America's Test Kitchen, Total Wipeout, Project Runway, and various other sitcom channels that show reruns.

We get two Dateline channels but prefer to watch the one hour shows over the two hour shows.

We do not have Netflix or any other streaming services that require payments, except that we are able to watch Amazon Prime shows, since we already have Amazon Prime. We occasionally watch movies on that.

We prefer to buy discs of movies rather than pay for streaming services.

I watched Criminal Minds on Paramount+, and also found the language a surprising change. I don't know if they toned it down after a couple episodes, or if I just acclimated to it and no longer "hear" the coarseness. But I was glad to reengage with the series, as I missed it.

I tried Seal Team, but for a reason I don't remember, didn't stick with it.

Currently am enjoying Star Trek Discovery, also on Paramount+.

Paramount + is advertising "now with Showtime," but I haven't figured out if that means it's a tiered thing, where I would pay more to "add" Showtime programs to the menu.

And Just Like That, Hijack, and Shrinking. Love them all.

We watched the last "Morse", paying for Masterpiece via Prime. Currently watching "The Tower", also via Prime. Now, though, I think we've seen everything that interests us on Masterpiece, so will drop the subscription until a 'must see' arrives.

We're seeing a lot of English dramas and mysteries available with subscription to Brit Box. Do you find enough quality there to bother subscribing?

PBS - Motor Week. Or...Outside Beyond The Lens is pretty good!

Star Trek...Picard. Watched season 1.

The Wheel of Time...season 1.

I recently finished Picard - the first "Star Trek" spinoff that I've seen.

Just re-watched the latest season of Seaside Hotel, and have started Astrid. Before that, watched Charite - which I enjoyed - and The Ranger, which was just okay (kind of trite) - didn't finish King of the Skies (all on PBS Passport).

When I want something kind of mindless, I watch the Places and Spaces channel, mostly for Escape to the Country and Grand Designs episodes.

I'll be watching the current season of Outlander soon, as well.

We watched The Diplomat a couple months ago and then decided to stream The Americans (Hulu). Still on season one. Dh inevitably falls asleep and then has to catch up the next day.

Also streaming The Bear on Hulu.

Evenutally will catch the latest season of The Lincoln Lawyer.

Im watching Black Mirror on Nerflix a little weird but what the heck i absolutely loved the Americans watched it all on networkt before streaming took over

I loved The Americans too. Hated to see it end. I found it interesting how we (or at lease I ) could root so strongly for people who did such awful things. It reminded me of when I read The Godfather in the 1960s.

The newest season of First 48 on Discovery plus. I also just now started watching Expedition Unknown and Kindred Spirits, even though they are not new at all, just new to me. On my big projector in my office, I am streaming various Christmas movies. CHRISTMAS IN JULY!!!

@chisue, we alternate our subscriptions between Brit Box and Acorn, a year with one and then switch. They often have introductory pricing deals and easy cancellation policies.

I adore Seaside Hotel! And I'm also watching the new season of Granchester. It's OK but I still miss Sidney Chambers; Will Davenport just doesn't cut it for me.

I got a Paramount + subscription specifically to watch the first season of Why Women Kill, which was terrific (the second season was OK, but not nearly as good). However, I've discovered more on there to watch than I'd planned: Durham County, a cop show, and From, which is a weird horror-Lost kinda show, but it ended abruptly with a cliffhanger :(

On Amazon Prime, I've been streaming Lodge 49, and re-watching Justified.

We've just finished The English with Emily Blunt and enjoyed it very much. We've recently started watching Star Trek: Picard. The last episode we saw was the one where he visited "Will Riker and Deanna Troi". It was great to see their very familiar faces again! We're still watching Joe Pickett, which we all enjoy.

We recently saw a few episodes of No Murders in the Building. But, as much as we like all the actors in it, it just didn't hold our interest.

And, we started watching -for the first time ever! - Breaking Bad, which is kind of ironic as we not only live here in New Mexico where it was filmed but they actually filmed numerous episodes of both Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul right across the road from us! Our son tells me that they were the episodes at some drug lord's compound in Mexico. There's a beautiful built-in pool and killer mountain and mesa views in those episodes. In fact, Brian Cranston used to walk up and down in front of my home talking on his cell phone and reading his script while filming there. Did I talk to him? Nope. We have a very long driveway, and back then he was not all that well known to me. Anyhoo, DH and I started watching it last month, but I quickly got tired of the violence and drug stuff. Now, DH watches it by himself on Thursday evenings.

I tackled some of Sex and the City as I never watched it first time around. It's okay - but don't love it and probably won't finish it. Just started the new season of Lincoln Lawyer and awaiting the new Justified set in Detroit (coming 7/18).

An excellent series is Somebody Somewhere on MAX. Some people will have a problem with some of the humor, which can be crude. And I know some of the people will have a problem with the same sex subject matter but it is a funny, warm love story about friendship. 100% on Rotten Tomatoes.

LynnNM -- Oh gosh, 'The English'! Wasn't that a wonder!

I mostly stream British (or sometimes Australian) shows. For whatever reason, I find them to be far more entertaining than US shows. I rarely ever watch broadcast TV and prefer to stream and routinely use several streaming platforms - Britbox, Acorn, Amazon Prime (with a PBS add-on) and Netflix, although that gets used less than the others.

Recently I've become absorbed by British documentary/reality series focused on police or medical topics - 24 Hours in A&E, Air Ambulance, The Cops, New Scotland Yard Files, etc.

Waiting not very patiently for the new season of Bosch Legacy and Reacher.
