I LOVE MCM homes and I like a really dark gray for the siding with brick usually for MCM. I think the gray / green with brick works better with a more traditional brick home. When and if the time comes when there is bit of money new windows would be a huge improevemnt too. BTW this is a fabulous way to handel low maintenance , great looking landscaping for that style house. And good luck to your Mom .The gray color on the siding in the pic is a good choice and maybe a bit brighter color for the door to make it a bit happier than black

Patricia, thanks and I love the landscaping. The new windows are on order and will be installed in approximately three weeks. We are trying to get everything buttoned up before hurricane season and landscaping will probably be the last thing that we tackle. She wanted more color than “just grey” as she called it so we were trying to warm it up a bit but she does like the idea of the darker color as I do. I will show her this inspiration pic and see what she thinks. Many thanks!!

I'd look at avocado tones and brown. Earth tones were popular in the 60s and will look great on the house.

This house, not MCM, but has a nice green with brown chairs and some red (kind of like brick) to get a sense of the colors together.

You indicated that you are installing white windows (in another post on this home.). I would, therefore, stick to white for your trim, etc.

Ptreckel yes so I wonder if that’s the rule. White windows mean that you have to use white trim…🤔
