Yikes! Having a numb finger for two weeks would freak me out. Glad it's gone! I will definitely get one of those doodads. Did you spray primer on it first? I remember now, we had beautiful cool Spring days and that's when I was working in the flowerbeds so much, and suddenly it got hot with high humidity and stayed that way until this week. I melt in humidity. I love the green you used, but I'm thinking it would be too dark for that corner of the porch. I'll probably look for ideas online.

@KW PNW Z8 Thank you! The color of the cushions is what made me buy this set. I’ll put up a pic once I have more of the pieces assembled. To give a general idea - the area is concrete and is located on my side yard. One end of the 12’x12’ space leads to a large side gate to get to the front of the house. The other end leads to a long concreted path with a long row of privets that I’m growing to make a hedge for privacy. Will post a pic ASAP. p.s. I‘m on the west coast. After I assembled the first two pieces, I was so unsure and felt I made the wrong purchase decision and wasted so much money. Posting here was the best decision and extremely helpful! ! Check online for the brand and model. Usually, there is a link to specifications or directions for assembly. Worst case, call cutomer service and if they don't help, return the furniture. Sorry this happened. I find most directions these days are very poor depending on country that manufactured the stuff.
