Thanks Barry for the BAT. Does anyone have a ball or glove?
Comments (5)Ok, you have convinced me to plant it like all my other cuttings. I had read somewhere about someone getting a huge piece and planting it horizontal in the ground. I'm always wanting to experience what other gardeners have had success doing. After reading all your postings I've decided to keep it up right and just stake it somehow. Wow, that is going to be a Whopper when it grows. Thanks Barry I had no ideal why it had those two holes. (grin) I learn something new everyday. Sometimes I learn the same thing and it seems new over and over.LOL Thanks again for all the help you guys. Marian...See MoreThree or Two holes for Bath Faucet
Comments (9)Don't worry, it'll work out. And the chances of the holes being in the right place later on is probably close to 100%. I've installed expensive faucets and cheap ones and the 1 thing they have in common is that the holes line up. Otherwise, why would they make sinks that come with the holes already in them?...See MoreTwo Hole Faucet: Spacing??! (Installing 10/26)...
Comments (10)I agree with what Joseph Corlett wrote about the air gap. Dishwashers today come with the "high loop hose" placement which negates the need for an air gap. There are only a couple of states left in the country that still require an air gap, most notably California and Washington (and maybe parts of Texas and Nevada, not sure). Is that where you are located? And even in those few states, many inspectors will give the OK on not having an air gap if they see your DW has the high loop installation, though of course that depends on the inspector. If you are certain the air gap is required, have the air gap for the inspection, then swap it for a soap dispenser....See MoreLeaking water from my irrigation system help please!
Comments (7)Oh I forgot to tell you that I broke one of the small pipes when I tried to remove this part. I was lucky that my neighbor (mechanic) helped me out for free to fix it for less than $10 by using 3/4" CPVC Thread Slip x Slip Coupling Fitting and JB Well. If these auto-drain parts break again, I will block those two pipe holes permanently. I don't mind to pay the cost of these two auto-drain parts; but I don't want to pay high water bill when they break down. Another thing after the fix, I noticed that the water came out from each sprinkler head stronger than before. Again thank you for your help....See More3onthetree
