Your sister's furniture is absolutely lovely! I'll bet she's thrilled. I'd say the dates you're getting here sound about right, 1920-1930ish. It does have an Art Nouveau flair. Hi Carol, I can't tell what that garment is, but if it's not too important, it could be taken apart, and the fabric used for parts of the dress. There are lots of colors choices in it for a contrast fabric. Do you know how old it is? What store did you find it in? Maybe someone here has access to the same store and could check for you. Linda

Thanks!! actually I found someone to replace the slats. although very expensive at $400 per chair, I'm assuming that it's fair due to all of the detailing that goes into it. I also saw that the owner has a houzz page Montalbano! :) as far as the tags, there were none. I got this set from a Garden Center here in Chicago called City Escape. Although very nice, the owner is dead set against photos being taken in the store or getting privy information regarding vendors. I recently found out through her that the vendor went out of business but I'll never know because she still did not state the name of the manufacturer. This set was rather expensive at full price but I did manage to get it for a couple of hundred on clearance and end of season. The repairs plus purchase is still about 75% cheaper than the original asking price. Thanks again
