Does anyone know the manufacturer of this fabric?

Hi,

I'm new to this forum. I LOVE IT! I'm wondering if any of you fabric loving crafters know the manufacturer of this fabric. The store no longer carries it. I'm hoping that with a name, I'll be able to find it on ebay or online. I'm wanting to use the fabric to make a dress for our 8 year old daughter who fell in love with the fabric. Thanks for any help on this! Carol

Did you look on the selvage>> Most times the manufactures name is there.

It looks like Michael Miller Daisy Delight. Not sure about the color though.

They, like all furniture manufacturers, buy from several fabric mills or jobbers. Your best bet is to get a cutting and take it to a fabric retailer. Often, they can identify fabrics. Many manufacturers rename or number their fabrics and only their database reveals the true identity. First, you may try calling Mitchell Gold, they may be willing to disclose the source.

I didn't actual ask a question - did I!!? My question/concern was the fabric being in 100% Polyester vs. using a mixed fabric blend. I read on one site that 100% polyester was rarely used on furniture, so I was hoping to get feedback if polyester is okay. Thanks!

I took the photo. It was a slip covered piece not for sale. No labels anywhere! I have been looking for a shabby cabbage rose floral type of romantic fabric and really like this fabric but have never found anything remotely similar so I thought I would post and get some leads. I hope!!!

Hi Carol, I can't tell what that garment is, but if it's not too important, it could be taken apart, and the fabric used for parts of the dress. There are lots of colors choices in it for a contrast fabric. Do you know how old it is? What store did you find it in? Maybe someone here has access to the same store and could check for you. Linda
