NEVER TOUCH A PORCHER TOILET! Seriously, they look nice, but no nicer than plenty of other toilets. And they work fine, just like plenty of others. But, the outrageous price aside, parts cannot be bougth retail (not even at dealers/distributors), so add seven days and $15 for shipping - and it requires PROPRIETARY PARTS! That's right. No walking into Home Depot and buying a flapper or a seat. That will be $90 for their equivalent of a flapper and $125 upwards for a seat, plus shipping. And then the seat cannot be fit under some normal circumstances (non-replaceable/non-tightenable bolts worked loose over a decade or so!) I just replaced my Porcher this afternoon with a perfectly good looking and well functioning standard toilet that uses standard parts at a reasonable price. The Porcher I dumped unceremoniously into the garbage bin. Literally!

The Jasmine is the same model as the S300. I don't know the reason for the different names. That's probably a good price. Does the retractable wand ever need cleaning? Yes, occassionally and is easily done with a soft cloth. Trying not to reveal TMI (too much information) but I just suffered thru bad stomach virus this weekend. My Washlet made made all the difference in the world :) springvillegardens, here is a photo of where I have my remote installed. No reach for it. With my back issues, I don't know what I'd do without my Washlet, not to mention how much cleaner and fresher it makes you feel. You have a choice of two rear washes, one a forceful steam and the other not as forceful and covers more area. Both are adjustable as is the water temp and seat temp. One front wash. Adjustable as well. Dryer has three temps. Also a deoderizer that automatically goes off 1 minutes after you get up. Or you can turn it on as needed. There is a power saver option. I have mine set for the features to be "on" from 9am to 12 midnight. I would hate to have to choose which bathroom feature is my favorite, the Washlet or airtub. Can you just get a higher toilet? I'm old and higher is better,and eventually you will get there too. With knees, back, and hips, higher is always better. Rather than look at this as a temporary adjustment, look at the future. -Babla

It's always fun finding aftermarket kits when you try to fit a chevy engine into a Jaguar. I was lucky ones in the early 80's when I installed Chevy big block engine into a Jaguar and I believe the conversion kit was only available and would work only on cars no later than 95 or 96-year Jaguar. :-) That being said I doubt anyone makes it Universal bidet mounting kits for a seat to fit any toilet... If that's the route you want to take, go on Alibaba website and find a bidet seat there for a few hundred dollars Something Like This. and contact the manufacturer and see which model toilet that will fit. Just make sure you not gonna get electrocuted or something will melt on your behind because who knows what they add to their plastic composites :-) As you know cheap always ends up being expensive.
