I purchased a wool mattress pad that saved my sanity. Helps DH feel warm and keeps me cool. Never would have believed that possible! I have a sheet, empty duvet cover, and a quilt for DH on colder nights. The thought of flannel is making me break out in a sweat, right now! I've been revamping/testing our guest room and found it quite chilly during cold snaps with only a cotton blanket. I ordered a wool comforter from Amazon that fits into a clearance duvet from West Elm. I'm going to test it in the next few days, but I have high hopes that it will keep differing people comfortable just like the mattress cover on our bed. Tonight the low is 64 and Sunday it will be 39. I'll report back. DH won't be happy that I'm bunking in there again, but I've made a few discoveries that I need to address before our guests stay overnight. Gosh! I didn't even address the bohemian part! Thanks, Monica. : ). Your room looks so homey, and very much like normal life around here. ; ) I was picturing a wall color more like your orange- rust colored pillow when I heard burnished pumpkin. Aimee, it could be partly a function of climate, which might be why I find this to be a challenging decision! That's very interesting that you find cozy colors to be more intimate. I find that appealing, rather than off-putting, but we seldom have "strangers" in our home, and if they are here, I usually want to help them feel welcome and as much a part of the family as possible. Yes, the little blue library is off our kitchen. The kitchen can just be seen to the right of it. The doorway to the living room is between the library (errr, the bathroom, to be more specific) and the kitchen. Could we possibly get away with a color like this in the living room? This was my absolute favorite room at the home show this year. It's a dark bluish green.

You might consider the new Samsung Frame Series. Tv looks like a piece of art, when not in use. Select from preloaded art or choose your own. Change when you want. I notice you have large speakers. Since you purchased that size sofa, you cannot center it on the back wall and still have room for chairs on both sides, so I decided to slide it to one side. IMO this sunroom might be a good place to have a cupa or read a book so providing a large surface to hold a cup of coffee and lounge in a chair is important. Everything in this area cannot be beige or it will be too blah, so I have included a comfy swivel lounge chair and patterned rug that pics up the colors in the throw pillows.
