Where is this house??? I am buying it on Monday! It IS my dream house, I am not kidding. I am a total MC addict. You "guys" will have to help me with cash but I promise I'll pay you back. :-)

That's a wonderful first home and looks well maintained - congratulations. From the examples you've been given, I would go with one of the darker greens, or darker brown. My own single story MCM is dark unsweetened chocolate brown - all of it, no brick other than built in planters in front - and in searching back through neighborhood photos, has been this color since built 1955. I have no plans to change it. I like the way it blends into the landscape as though a part of it, and not something just dropped into place from somewhere else ;0) I think blue would have that effect on your home with the treed background. One thing the PO had done here was paint the underside of the soffits warm white. I think if the darker color, it would appear a little dark when inside looking out...you might want to keep that in mind when painting along your parking and basketball hoop area and keep the part the overhangs the brick light colored on the underside. No one will notice from outdoors.

Hard to tell from this photo what the exterior walls are. Stucco? If so, I might look at painting is a dark gray, do the trim in a charcoal color, and paint the door a bright yellow (or natural wood like this): Here are some other color combinations I like:

The new door is installed and beautiful...Not painted yet but still beautiful in white. The screen is white too so it almost looks like a white door but the neighbors all see it and and know it's going to be painted and some are stopping to come up and get a better look. We're having second, third, fourth etc...thoughts about the paint color. We're concerned about the contrast with using a dark color on an all white house...Not even color on the roof. We're thinking of a lighter color and aqua is in the mix as are lighter shades of blue. I have time to think about it because my husband still needs to do the walkway and we need to have our driveway cleaned before he'll do that...Just a few things but enough time. So Sarah I'll take a look at the Fresh Mint color. I'm thinking of a cross between pale blue and aqua. Something less intense than I've been thinking. Not as contrasty as a bright jewel tone that I really love but am not sure is right for the door. So thank you all. I'll try and get a pic up so you can see but bear with me...The next 10 days are busy with non-house things so may get sidelined. ANY suggestions are welcome. I'm very open at this point.
