Lamp Shade Issues!
I ordered a pair of Lamps Plus lamp shades for my Asian style lamps. I had nothing to compare them to for sizing because the previous replacement shades were all wrong. After measuring over & over, I wasn’t happy with them after I got them. I think they are too big. Or perhaps, maybe if I swap out the one narrow end table (see last photo) then they’d look ok. I tried returning them but Lamps Plus wants me to destroy them to get a full refund. I just don’t want to trash perfectly good lamp shades. And I know I can’t resell around my area. Just looking for opinions to see if I need to trash or keep?
PS…kept the plastic wrap on them until I decide.

Comments (1)For the first, I would probably do a burlap drum shade (the shape reminds me of a mid-century lamp we had when I was a kid that had that sort of shade). The second one is so tiny. It needs a clip-on shade. I think I would do a tapered shade. I could see black or white. I think it would look cute with a patterned shade, too, but that might take away from the base. Comments (17)There is a product call Rub n' Buff that could probably be wiped on your frames to make them slightly different from the walls. Easy to use with a soft cloth. My local Michael's doesn't carry it, but Hobby Lobby carried a few of the colors....See MoreRelated Professionals

I had purchased these first. But they were too small. I think this is the style I need but in larger dimensions.
