The french country style to me brings to mind the overgrouted substantialy blocky style of stonework. I think both the Greys or a natural can work but I think it depends on the accent colors your using...to me black and white accents and grey would be a natural blend but I have seen the color you chose (mnt.sage) work well with the brown/redish tones when paired with a stained wood, like posts or beam accents. It's hard to tell with just the list of colors for me rather than the sketch of your exterior. I just finished up a room with Timid White and I like it a lot. I don't like bright whites at all. I usually go with very very off white creamy (bone white), but this room I wanted something whiter. I tested Linen White and found it too white for my taste, even though the color swatch cards of the two were incredibly close. Timid white is white enough to appear as white, not cream, but softer than bright white. It is off-white enough that when I first put it up against the bright white primed walls, I was afraid it was too off-white, but it wasn't when the walls were painted (a camel tan color). One thing about (almost) white trim I am finding out is that it is hard to select outlet covers. The white ones are too white (and make the almond outlets stand out). The almond outlet covers go with the outlets but do not go with the trim. I was lucky to find some outlet covers that were in between and they are okay with each (but match neither). I do trim in Satin. Also, cloud White is a popular white too. I don't have personal experience with it though.

Thanks I took a look and brought a paint swatch sample to the store, but in person neither of those colors worked. I am looking at Hunter Douglas Journal and Aspen White. Also looking at Bali Dove White and Almost white. Its tricky as the Bali Dove White looked right if blind sample was stretched out, but if it is crinkled (as in a partially raised blind) it looks too yellow.. The room gets good light during the day. I am leaning toward Hunter Douglas Journal. Does anyone have any experience a white white honeycomb blind matching BM white dove trim well? I know its a popular trim color so hoping someone has some experience.

The rule of thumb for creating all white color combinations is that there should be a difference of 0.20 (ish) in Chroma. The contrast of Chroma ensures that neither color of white will make the other look dirty or dingy. Beyond that color DNA detail you just have to like how they look together and in context of the room and its contents. For example, I don't like the hue families to be too close -or- too far apart; that's a subjective judgment. Pull a range of whites that meet the 0.20 (ish) difference, compare them to Alabaster and pick the one you think looks best with Alabaster and your stuff.
