please share your favorite BM colors...
Comments (10)I have floors the same color as your dining room. Vellum, a very soft yellow (but not lemon-y)looks beautiful with the floors and I think it would make your dining room seem infused with sunlight. I have Deer Path in my dining room b/c it is a better contrast against my painted furniture. Deer Path is a warm neutral, bronze undertones. Other BM favorites (that also work well with your floors): Blue - Santorini Blue, Brittany Blue, and Gray Wisp (Gray Wisp is same as Restoration Hardware Silver Sage). I also really like Newburyport Blue or Van deussen blue if you are willing to go with a dark color (navy). Green - Soft Fern and Spa (I just painted my guest bathroom Spa (*LOVE IT*). I have maple cabinets, white & grey floors, and white counter tops - the Spa paint is exactly what I wanted. Very neutral green, not too blue or too yellow, very soft but not pastel. Toned with some grey, really easy to live with. Off white - Woodmont cream, Mascarpone, Linen white, and Elephant Tusk. If you like red, the best red I've seen is Farrow & Ball Picture Gallery Red. I have a small accent wall in this color and love it. It is a very earthy red, strong color but doesn't dominate like some of the bolder reds do. Hope that helps!...See MoreWhat are your favorite BM Colors?
Comments (27)My favorite is Edgecomb Grey. I painted both of my children's room's this color. It looks fab with pink accents and black furniture in my daughter's room, and equally terrific with navy and red in my son's room. Also love Stonington Grey, which is in my bedroom. Grey Wisp is another great color. Have it in the office and powder room. Hmmm...i think I like grey! Just realized that every room that I've painted in this house has been some shade of grey.! Kitchen is next. On the table is revere pewter and Harbor Grey. Of course....See MoreSW and BM paint - share your favorite colors
Comments (0)We are building a new home, we have picked cabinets, flooring, knobs, faucets, etc.... its all coming together. I'm looking at paint colors now. I'm considering SW Blonde for foyer/dining room/Living room (do you have this- if so please share your pics)... We are also considering BM Navajo White for ceiling and trim (We can repaint if needed later but thought it would be easiest to pick one color for these main areas).. Do you have this color for ceiling or trim? Pics? Our family room has 20foot ceilings. I am considering a darker paint like BM Tawny (deep rich color) but i'm conserned - how will this rich/deep color look in such a big room ? (21x20) with the high ceilings. Does anyone have pics to share of such a big room with your color? We do have lots of light from windows in this room. Love to hear what SW and BM colors you love-- share pics if you have ! Thank you...See MoreBM white dove trim... what color should I paint the ceilings?
Comments (9)Alexa Hampton of Mark Hampton Inc. recommends 50/50 wall color and ceiling white paint mixed.....something to consider unless you love a white ceiling. I did my ceiling the same color as the trim although my crown molding was done in semi gloss and the ceiling was done in flat which is an easier paint job for a DIY like me....See Morepmacbee
