Automotive Paint on Laminate Kitchen Cabinets ?
Comments (10)thanks rosiew, I'll check out the post and definitely go into a SW or one of the others, they probably know what they are talking about more than the big box store employees may. hi malhgold, I could take the doors off, but don't want to take the cabinets down, hence wanting someone to come in and paint the cabinets. Hi jterrilynn, that might be where i saw the cabinets, I just remember thinking it was a spectacular transformation at the time and would have loved it, I couldn't remember where i saw those cabinets, but that would have been about the time I was thinking of redoing my cabinets in my last house and Lynette Jennings was on HGTV at the time, that kitchen was obviously really spectacular because you remember it and i do too - Ha!...See MoreNeed new kitchen help?
Comments (9)I think the Wildflower Honey is awfully bright, and will be intensified by fluorescent lighting. You might want to go lighter in the row of yellows or slightly grayer yellow. I like vinyl flooring, but I tend toward patterns that don't try to look like something (currently hard to find) or if mimicking something, still pretty neutral. Comments (19)Some of my favorite threads have been ones Aunt Jen (Ida Claire) started. There was the guilford green paint thread and the oriental rug thread and, one of my favorites, the Kitchen Aid mixer thread. I've wanted one of them since then and have never been as interested in the colors of a kitchen appliance in my life. I remember there were hundreds of responses and the thread lasted weeks. The yellow one! The pearl! They were beautiful. [I just found the link![(https://www.houzz.com/discussions/please-humor-me-again-kitchenaid-mixer-colors-dsvw-vd~3580510) Anyway, I wish her all the best!...See MoreYet another front door color quest
Comments (77)Gracefully, I love Palladian blue. My K cabinets have a beadboard back which was painted with a Palladian Blue wash. But I digress... we tried, IIRC, 12 colors. Ended up choosing Martha Stewarts' Porch Ceiling, LOL! It's discontinued but maybe it can still be mixed? https://www.myperfectcolor.com/paint/58921-martha-stewart-c26-porch-ceiling-blue...See MoreAllison0704
