Thanks everyone. I redid the upstairs too, using different glass tile. And I just finished painting the walls turquoise to match one of the glass tiles, so I'll have to take pictures this weekend. I'm actually glad the baths worked out the way they did. It is easier keeping the white subway tile clean, the glass tile takes a little more work. But since it's just an accent strip, it not too much of a bother. And certainly MUCH cheaper! I did the kitchen and 2 baths at the same time, and spent plenty of money on other things. It looks gorgeous! I really wanted irregular subway tile, but was unable to find anything that looked like what you posted for anything other than the prices you mention. I serched high and low, went to every tile shop in the N NJ area, called NYC shops... hence it took me 3 years to settle on a tile. I opted for a 5" square tile with that same kink of look, but only I think about $6 sqft. If you end up finding it for less, don't tell me, I don't want to know. Ultimately I love love the tile and the shape, I mounted it in a subway pattern, and am very happy. $20 sq ft was just not the budget, I had other things I was spending on. Your pics are definitley one of the groupings that I considered- love that glass, I know what it looks like in person, I think I have a small board of the same somewhere in a pile in the basement. For our first main bath reno, I used the tile I link below- much cheaper, not exactly like the pic you posted, but had a feel that was similar to me. If not, then that would be the only reason I can think of to go to lengths to move it. I know code sometimes mandates area around toilets, per Mongo's mention but I am not sure.

Did you ever find anything that fit? I'm looking for the same thing! Can only find one fancy brand thats $22sq/ft.

Looks great! I am the worst at picking tile and I think they all look great so go with your gut... I did the white on white look and it was so white I ended up doing grey grout to balance it out. I think a grey tile probably would have balanced the counter better but I fell in love with that white herringbone I ended up doing. I also picked a matte tile and kind of wish I had picked something with a glossier finish for some more sparkle. Your choices look like they will do that and have more dimension. Good luck!
