Comments (26)Catharine, that why I just stick with the post office and never use UPS. They broke a couple of lamps for my boss, a coffee pot for the office, several items from various places for me including a birthday gift for my Stepmother from Pfaltzgraf. Nope, I stick with the Post Office, they can get a dozen eggs to NYC by priority mail without breaking them, I've had much better luck with them than with UPS, although they do take longer sometimes. Comments (8)Kat, you cracked me up reading how cautious you were being opening your package. Us Texans aren't ALL bad. :) That is just so cool...er I mean warm Kat! What a sweetheart Jen was to gift you those wonderful earmuffs. Yep, you'll certainly be stylin'. My nephew is getting married the end of this month and the brides maids are wearing leopard shoes and the guys are wearing leopard ties. I'm thinking they all need a pair of those earmuffs to complete their wardrobe. LOL...See MoreWho investigates a delayed package? The sender?
Comments (12)We didn't have any bad weather last week, so I can't blame a storm. But good news--the package arrived today. I hope Cat_ky can report the same thing. The not-so-good news is that the lens was banging around in the box, totally unprotected. It was the worst packing job I've ever seen. The cap on the back of the lens--which screws on--was separated from the lens. Not only do I wonder about any damage to the inside of the lens, but I wonder about the seller's description of the lens. S/he said the lens was in excellent condition, lightly used, but anyone who knows anything about cameras would never have packed a lens that way....See MoreSending a "care package" to the Navajo Nation ...
Comments (12)I occasionally ship packages via priority mail and they always ask if there is anything “liquid, perishable, or lithium batteries” in it, so I’m not sure if that would work. I am part of a mask making group in our state and as an offshoot of that, we recently filled a truck full of supplies and a couple of volunteers drove it to the Navajo Nation. It was pretty neat to see how people pitched in to provide the goods for that truck!...See Moremillworkman
