That placement is SO much better! Slide the whole sectional down the wall about 6 more inches away from the doorway, all the way to the window frame. The tv is fine on an angle. The room looks great. Now you have room at the end of the room if you want to add a desk and chair, a small round table with two chairs, or an armchair with a reading lamp, or just keep one tree in the corner. You only appear to have one ceiling light in the whole room. Consider adding a floor lamp to the end of the sectional by the window, where you currently have your tree. It will give you the height that is needed, as well as the light. As an alternative, you could use a metal and glass console table along the short side of the sectional, with a table lamp.

It's difficult to have things hanging on the wall along a typical set of stairs because people may brush against them or people going up and down will cause them them to get out of alignment a lot.

Thank you partim. It took me forever to get the furniture how I wanted that was functional and didn't look awful. Like I wanted to see the tv from the desk and bed, and I wanted my phone and laptop cords to reach both as well so I wouldn't have to have two sets. It was just a bunch of little things. Those are great ideas and the pictures look great. The little black table is a foldup and doesn't stay there, I just occasionally use it for extra desk space when I need it. It actually goes in the closet when not in use. I can't really hang the shadow boxes so that's why they are on top of the dressers for now. Maybe one day I'll get to hang them. As for moving the dressers and swapping out some of the art, that's something I'll definitely have to consider. I'm not sure if the dressers will fit there if I move the TV over because the drawers may not have clearance to open but I might try. The TV doesn't get hit by the door, I was worried at first it would but it's a closet and I don't swing it open fast and it would hit the stand first before the TV if I did.
