Hosta Blues 2022 ....................................
Somebody said they wanted BLUE hostas? I believe I read that somewhere. So today let's see some blues:

Easter Island. This is what blows me away is not how deep they go but that there are 886 statues counted so far and expected to be over 1000.

3 months agoThe Easter Island statues are incredible. I watched a documentary on them a few years ago that focused on how they were "walked" to their positions with ropes and man power.
hosta_maker I do like a dusky purple petiole and the centre streak is very handsome.

Comments (34)Some more Gs Galaxy Gila River - such an unusual color and wins the largest flower/leaf ratio for me. I moved it to more shade to retain better color and the white edges tended to melt away later in the year. Gilt by Association - This was one of my most photographed Hosta the previous year. This year the leaf canopy grew and it is in more shade. I'm really looking forward to these two maturing together. Glad Rags and Mango Tango The always wet looking Glossy Ruffles. A replacement for a dwindler. I hope it was the location and not just a bummer of a plant as I love the look. Saija..does it produce lots of seed pods?.. old_dirt..I thought of Gold Drop along with Laurie and debra..I have Gold Drop but no great pics of it.. 2 pics of small volunteers.. in back..small green with white margins and a small green with ruffles? piecrust edges?..are both terms proper?.. then in front..a similar small green..I love both of the little green ones but the one in front is my favorite of the two.. it occurred to me that since these hosta are volunteers maybe they aren’t named cultivars?..does that seem possible?..I’ll leave the pics anyway.. is there a cultivar that they resemble?.....See Moreperen.all Zone 5a Ontario Canada

I love Bressingham Blue and Blue Hawaii but no pics of either..🤦♀️
