Hosta D 2022............
Comments (23)Not a great pic of it. I'm sure I took more . . . somewhere. My goal this year is to get a good pic of it. It really is a special Hosta with different color and an odd margin. Danubie Isla Another cool color combo that varies from the early more yellow edges. Dark Shadows. (I need a Blue Shadows to go with it). Dawes still needs another year or two to strut its stuff. Dawn's Early Light Diamond Lake this will be the year for this one (I hope) Dinky Donna Dolcissimo...See MoreHosta J 2022..................
Comments (23)Oh well, so now June is on my list and maybe something else to fill the spaces…..yay, more shopping! Sunnywood, I also loooove that Jack of Diamonds! The coloring is awesome! Mosswood, thanks tI disagree, your hostas are lovelies and don’t say they’re not special……. If they hear you say that, they might not grow so nice…….☺️😉👍🏽 debra...See MoreHosta Noid 2022 ...................We are not done yet
Comments (16)I had the same thought for Saija’s blue with round leaves as debra..Elegans.. Saija..does it produce lots of seed pods?.. old_dirt..I thought of Gold Drop along with Laurie and debra..I have Gold Drop but no great pics of it.. 2 pics of small volunteers.. in back..small green with white margins and a small green with ruffles? piecrust edges?..are both terms proper?.. then in front..a similar small green..I love both of the little green ones but the one in front is my favorite of the two.. it occurred to me that since these hosta are volunteers maybe they aren’t named cultivars?..does that seem possible?..I’ll leave the pics anyway.. is there a cultivar that they resemble?.....See MoreHosta Mini or Smalls 2022 ...............
Comments (17)Beth , peren and old_dirt, I have some of the same as you three do. Let me comment on ones I don’t have….. Beth, Bitsy Gold is a cute one. Looks especially good in a pot. I love the trio of minis in a pot as well. Peren, well….you just have soooo many! Some new ones I have purchased are ones I’ve seen in your garden. Sometimes I buy multiples and plant them together as well to make a bigger plant quicker…..lol I really like Cracker Crumbs, Crumb Cake and your row of 4 minis is cute. I love Teaspoon and Ladybug! old_dirt, your Mini Skirt looks great in that planter! I have seen Surfer Girl before, but in your garden it has a lovely light green shade. Also love Pocket Full of Sunshine….. I had one, but I believe it developed nematodes so I tossed it. I may have to give it another try! debra...See Morenicholsworth Z6 Indianapolis
