Bona Traffic HD stain. Help!

Rob Simeone
last year

Okay so we just renovated our entire house and laid down 2600 sq ft of 4” select white oak to be finished onsite. Our floor guy used 1 coat of bona natural sealer, followed by 3 coats of bona traffic hd satin. (we wanted the third traffic coat even though 2 would have been fine also and he didn’t charge us extra). I watched them use roughly 6 gallons for each coat and buffed the floor in between HD coats.

We waited a week and finally moved in. Our first night my wife had laundry detergent spill down the side of the bottle while it was on the floor causing this stain on our floor. (It was probably like this for 2 hours max). It seems it got through the bona HD and stained the wood. What is recommended we do? In the past we always used dark walnut red oak flooring with oil poly when flipping houses etc. first time using water based poly. Any help would be greatly appreciated
