Cant really tell by just the lot size. Depends on available yard space and sun exposure, do you want a back yard with space for kids to play in, are there Home Owners Association rules, do you want some in the front yard (ripe fruit hanging on a accessible tree is tempting to potential theft). I don't have any avacodo, but there are some mango trees that can be kept fairly small. You can control a banana mat to just keep three stalks growing to keep it small, lychee can be kept a manageable size. My lot is 120' x 125' (15,000 SF) I have 10 different banana types, 2 different lychee, 5 different papaya, 7 different dragon fruit (6 more in pots to be ground plated next year)), 1 grapefruit, 1 orange, 1 tangerine, 1 lemon, 2 lime, 7 different mango (most in pots), along with pineapples (every top I cut off gets planted somewhere), a couple of tomatoes, 4 eggplants (in containers), 2 blueberry (container), hot peppers (containers), sugar cane, a small mamey sapote, a small carambola. Still planning to have some big pine trees removed to get more sun and planting space. The South side of my house is pretty shaded, that will be changing. Where there is a will there is a way. DM

Layout will be EXTREMELY important. You will definitely need to lay out the tile on graph paper, to scale, before you start cutting a setting tile. The subfloor and underlayment has to be dead flat because lippage and things like that are potential problems. There is a higher percentage of waste with large format tiles, so you need to make sure you will have enough. Technique is also very important to control things like lippage. I have a friend whose bathroom had One Tile that had significant lippage on it and it was in a spot that everyone stubbed their toe on it. They actually went to small claims court or mediation (about this and some other things) and the result of the mediation was that since the Entire Floor would have to torn up and done again it would be too much of a hardship on the contractor because of one tile. My friends nearly sold the house because of that one tile. They hated the bathroom after that and had to cover most of the floor with a rug thick enough to compensate for that one tile.

You might want to read the paperwork you signed. 5 years ago when we ordered KM from HD, we had their most experienced KD do all of the cabs in our house, and the store manager was there when we signed what seemed like a lot of different forms. I have a very distinct memory that I signed off on what the exact order was. I had quadruple checked each item on the order, and made sure I understood what all of the abbreviations and symbols meant, since I'd observed that sometimes their computer figured things differently than I did as to what was need for trim, spacers, etc. Anne

I bought black roller shades for the whole first floor in the spring. I received them in about 5 days. We were insanely busy and I did not get them up til about 6 weeks later. I mis-measured and needed to return and get new ones. About half were off by 1/2 inch. I called and they said oh no our return policy is within 30 days. Let me see what I can do. She got the return approved but the policy is they will remake only 4 blinds for free. You need to donate the wrong ones to HFH or somewhere. I was able to make a few of my wrong mistake blinds work upstairs and plan to just have the ones I need made correctly. I think the company went over and above what they needed to do. They were completely professional and courteous. I could not ask for better. It was totally my mistake BTW. I did go to HD first and the real person there was less than pleasant (don't think she liked that I wanted black shades...) which is not normal for my HD. Usually people there are really helpful. But I needed black roller shades and they did not have them. Special order was super expensive. I intend to finish my order with Blinds this fall when I move back to indoor projects.
