Help Choosing Area Rugs

MICHELLE

I am planning to turn our cabin into a short term rental and would like to buy new rugs, mainly to cover more of the original fir wood flooring to protect it from scratching or damage. This floor is 100 years old and I don't think another refinish is possible. I am thinking about investing in Ruggables because they are washable. However, I just get "decision paralysis" when I have to make choices like these. Rugs are expensive and I am afraid of making a mistake. I would also welcome other decorating improvements or tips if something stands out to you, such a paint color for the beige wall in the 2nd picture.
