lHelp with Hardware placement

Will anyone please show me some examples of where I should have them drill holes for my " t bar " hardware? I have shaker kitchen cabinets but just need to know where ( in the upper corner ?) Are the rods suppoose to hang past the edges ? Hope this makes sense

Not everyone puts them in exactly the same place, but I wouldn't put them any higher than what is pictured below:

Bend your elbow to 90 degrees, grasp the pull in your hand, and walk to the pantry's door. Where the pull collides with the door is where you should install it. Or at least install it so some part of the pull is at that spot. I was in one house whose owner had installed TWO pulls, centered on the upper half of the panels and the lower half. Neither was easy to reach or use.

Is there a general rule / guideline on the placement of cabinet hardware? How do you handle different size cabinets? My cabinet drawers range in width from 23 1/2 to 28 1/2. They have an inset which is where the handle pulls will be placed. I've included a couple of photos.

I would not want to stand at the sink with the handle pull going into my belly when I lean over or catching my pocket when I move. Go with the finger pull. It's hardly noticeable and more functional.

I've used curved rods in spots with tight clearance but it's not an ideal solution. In your case, you have no return or room for the drapes to be pulled back. The drapes would permanently cover a good portion of your windows. The easiest and most attractive solution would be inside mount natural blinds or roman shades.

Don't ever hang anything higher or lower than the door edge.

Towards the corners. Consider it being in the middle of the rail (left to right or up and down)

Make sure whoever installs uses a jig to ensure consistency

First Pic is my actual kitchen cabinets im goi g with the longer pull. Just curious where I should have them drill the hole ? Right in the corner or higher or lower like the examples I've shown ? Thanks for your help !

THIS!! OR LINE UP THE BOTTOM EDGE of the bar pull, with lower bead of trim in the rail- in other words , up a skosh: )

That's a bar pull, not a T
