If the drawer hardware is good you can likely get away with just one pull. Live with it awhile and see how hard the drawers are to open and close. If you find the drawers to hard to open and close after they are loaded up, you can try better drawer hardware if you have decided the appearance is acceptable with a single pull. Older houses often had no real drawer hardware, just wooden drawers on wooden rails. Large drawers often needed two pulls to even get them open.

Um... I kinda like 'em low, too. Mostly, I just like your hardware! :) Are you short? Does it make a difference? Think if you have stacked cabinets, for example. If they're lower, could you actually reach them? (You must be TALL!! :) If you're short, that doesn't matter.

@Beth Yes, they have it placed at 3” and I was suggesting in my OP to bring it down to 2” - however, based on what you posted it sounds like we could take it even lower/closer to the corner at 1-1/4” up/in, which may be more in line with what we want… clean lines, not making the hardware stand out (except for the pantry, we just like the forged/textured look of that hardware, but that’s an exception)… What do you think of my other suggested changes, per the OP (see below)? - Knobs on upper should be 2” from corner (currently 3”) - Drawer pulls should all be placed towards the top of the drawer, not middle - Lower cabinets should have the pulls placed horrizontal instead of vertical

I went down quite a rabbit hole searching for appliance and cabinet pulls. (Ask me about my spreadsheet with columns of info on about 20 styles, LOL.) Sadly I found no armadillo pulls :) In case it helps, folks here posted helpful responses on my recent post. A couple of things I learned that helped me narrow down choices: I only wanted solid brass construction (not zinc), and verified that my top two choices are back or through-bolt installation, not surface-mounted. (Pictures in the Julie Blass blog show a pull that has screws that look surface mounted; I would worry about using those on a refrigerator.) Best of luck on your search... I feel your pain!
