My daughter gave me a set of pajamas from Cozy Earth for Christmas. THEY ARE THE BEST! I'm ordering more even though they are pretty pricey. But sold out of my prefered style & size presently.

Here is 100% cotton. Not exactly what you pictued (v-neck, cropped), but solid colors.

I have bought cotton bottoms from Peruvian Connection and then I wear a t-shirt over them, but their pj/longe pants are usually patterned. They will have more patterns come spring, I suspect.

SueB, I actually ordered one of GH’s quieter prints in that style a few years ago and returned them without even taking them out of the plastic. I am oddly print-averse. I love prints—- on other people.

I actually went to Cozy Earth, Birchpoint and their pajamas are lovely but they are made of bamboo. Nothing wrong with other fabrics just one of my quirks that I only sleep in cotton. 🤷‍♀️

I love Lands End pajamas. They look like the Lake style you show, definitely wash and dry, dont shrink or fade. I have several pairs.

GH Asian wrap summer &winter. All the girls in my family love them.

I bought 100% cotton PJs from Target for a family holiday photo and the ONLY person who is not wearing theirs on repeat is my DH. No idea what colors/patterns they have currently but they were from Target. Just checked - very limited from a couple of months ago but I see they have stripes.

I love Hanna Anderson cotton PJ's. There are some wild prints but also a few stripe options. Look under family PJ's to find adult sizes...maybe you could get some matching ones with your grands...haha.

Part of the issue may be, when I search for pajamas, they come up with the shirt tops with buttons. I wear those...never unbutton them and I never notice the buttons when I'm sleeping. There is a set a Talbots, but the bottoms are a stripe-y print. They also have Haven Well Within that are a line of comfortable clothing...perhaps something like this?

Glad you found some. I will confess, I cannot sleep in PJs. I am not a claustrophobic person, but I might be in pjs LOL. I feel all bound up. I like pjs to lounge, but the shirt type - collar, button up. I will occasionally sleep in a pair of pj bottoms or sleep shorts but with a tank. I most often sleep in a chemise style nightie, either sleeveless or straps.

I see that your mission was already accomplished. You're the Sueb of pajama purchases!

For anyone else who is still looking, I wanted to add a plug for The Cat's Pajamas, which was suggested to me when I asked a similar question a while back. I purchased gift cards for my friend's milestone birthdays. They have told me multiple times how much they like the pajamas they picked.

@deegw those PJs from Cat's Pajamas are beautiful! I've never spent that kind of money on something to sleep in but am considering it - you are either evil or genius - evil genius!? For those who find pajamas constricting, you don't have to sleep in both pieces - I only use the tops for sleeping with unders, like sleeping in a T, but put the bottoms on as soon as I'm out of bed.

Thanks all for the additional recommendations! I checked all the sources and found pink bottoms and a pink and white striped top at Target on sale for about $60 for the set, so 👍DLM. I am also going to buy the Lake pjs in a size larger in hopes that when they come out of the dryer they will fit. 🤞 That’s four new pair of basic (as opposed to special occasion) pajamas and i hope I will not be buying any more for a couple of years.

@Tina Marie, where do you find your chemise style nighties. I’m looking for one to take with me to Italy this summer. I prefer cotton or silk.

@bbstx no particular brand or store. I like a cotton knit. I also like a style that is not straight but fitted through the bust. I have a couple that are stretch lace and a seam under the bust, very flattering. I believe I have found those at Belk and/or Macys. @Zalco/bring back Sophie! thank you for that link! That first one is the style I wear! I think I might order the black one with white polka dots.

I’m glad you were able to source some PJ’s KSWL. I’m too late but I would have suggested The Company Store also. I had to check on mine and they are 100% cotton (taupe) flannel

made in Portugal. The style is not feminine by any means but are very comfy when the temps drop here in RI. I switch between my LE nightgowns (long-Tall) & PJ’s.

I like to make my own pajamas, and I have good sources for fabric here in L.A.

I buy cotton jersey and preshrink it before I make the pajamas. I especially like the feel of mercerized Swiss cotton jersey, but it is more expensive.

Pajamas are extremely quick and easy to make, and I also make nightshirts. I have two sergers and two sewing machines, both of which have plenty of stitches for knit fabrics.

Lars, my interactions with sewing machines have been fraught with anxiety. Even thinking about me making pajamas fills me with alarm. Thinking about you making pajamas fills me with awe!

I left my stubborn allegiance for all cotton sleep wear behind when I was given a pair of bamboo pajamas. From then on, I usually seek out all bamboo, or a combination of silk or cotton plus bamboo. I find the bamboo more breatheable, wicking, longer lasting, cooler, etc. than anything else.
