I'M not sure what I would change , maybe removing the armoire to a walk in closet to make the space feel a bit bigger. I do not think MBRs need to be huge to be lovely. I would get a new light no fan and something with a bit of bling. I really like the pillows that are not over done I do not see night tables so maybe add those and some lamps in a darker purble glass base with white shades .

Your bed and armoire are beautiful! I understand your desire to continue to use them. You do need night stands. And lamps on either side of the bed. Is that the only place the bed can be situated? Can you do a floor plan of the room? Consider breaking up the set, or at least re-thinking how you use it. What is in the armoire? Can you open the doors and use it to display a collection of quilts? Perhaps wallpaper the back of the interior and add lighting to it, or use it as a book shelf? Does the dresser have a matching mirror? Perhaps swap the mirror with one from another room. Do you have a good chair to sit in? Think about adding an easy chair that is comfortable to sit in and read (with a lamp nearby). Your art is pretty but it might be better suited for another room, even your bathroom? Or grouped over your dresser, or flanking the walls (stacked) on either side of your armoire if you have space. Larger art that has meaning for you might be a better choice for over your bed.

Thank you to you both for commenting. I don't have a floor plan of the room to post at the moment. The picture is taken from the doorway. The dresser is on the wall across from the foot of the bed. It's a very small room. I agree with both of you about the night stands, but what look to give them? Certainly not more dark wood. The armoire contains a lot of my clothes. I hope to put much of them into the closet that is being redesigned for maximum functionality, but it goes with the scale of the room - small, so I think the armoire will still be in use as clothing/storage and it definitely will not fit in the closet, if I want to put much else in there. I do love the art, one of my kids created the watercolors for me. I could see moving the grouping to another wall and putting a larger piece there in it's place. Any suggestions on color? I am not afraid of color at all. I am afraid of doing something that will look horrible haha

I don't think the four framed prints belong over the bed. Maybe lined up in the new Shoji white bath room?

Shoji looks a lot like the color of the bedroom rug.

With that in mind, the wall color isn't working with the bedding, the cherry wood and the rug.

Go darker on the. walls.
