Comments (1)Ours is 2 story with angles and differing walls. The table is functional for setting a purse or gift. We've used the space mostly as a gallery. For the holiday season the table is replaced with a tree. Congratulations on your new home. Comments (23)Scrolling through the photos my first thought was it would look nice to have a plant or flowers for some softness. The table is pretty ornate so I'd keep the top simple and less. Comments (10)Standard height for a hallway table is from 34" to 36". You can place a statue or flowers on the table to give it more height. Be sure to allow at least 36", and preferably 42", to walk between the table and the walls, otherwise people will feel squeezed as they move through the space. If there is not room for a table consider placing a round rug to distinguish the space.
