Comments (1)It's difficult to make suggestions not knowing what you do/don't like, but lots of websites let you narrow the selections by size so you can just scroll through them. You can also narrow by finish and style This is lamps plus - 8 pages of large chandeliers. There are lots more vendors with different styles and quality to try, too. Here is a link that might be useful: large size chandeliers...See Moreto those of you with entry-ways
Comments (19)Our 'entryway' is our enclosed porch. The floor is wood. I just refinished it last summer and by this, it's already showing signs of wear by the outside front door. My sister has slate in the small area by her front door--it looks nice and really saves the floor. A bakery I used to work with installed a really good, heavy-duty wood floor in the store. It was supposed to last them for 'forever'. within months it was virtually ruined by the traffic coming and going. There's no way, if I had the choice, I'd have wood by a well-used door. Unfortunately, given the configuration of our porch floor, we can't put in anything that adds even a fraction of an inch in height, so tile, carpeting, even a throw rug are out....See MoreHELP! I would take some newspaper or something else and cut out a paper version of the mirror in those same measurments. Tape it up with some painter's tape in the space to help you visualize....See MoreFoyer Advice for Entrance Way
Comments (14)My priorities would be to 1) replace out of place oversized clock with a mirror (last minute exit/ entry hair checks, etc), 2) replace "boob" light with hanging light(this ties with first priority for me. Shudder), 3) declutter table (place a nice bowl or small basket for keys, mail, etc);theres too much on there now that doesn't look very functional, 4) Add an appropriate sized piece of favorite artwork across from table....See Moregroveraxle
