LOL I am all over the place with this and my mind is doing mental gymnastics trying to pull it together in my head so that I don't make any costly mistakes that I will end up regretting. At first I thought I wanted black/cream. Then I was leaning towards brown/cream. Now I am stuck on a red/cream set on the Horchow site. I am trying to work out the details of what would go on the windows with any of the patterns. Once I figure all that out, I will then attempt the paint color. LOL I am still confused and frozen as to what to do next. cheri127 - thanks for the info. Your bed looks very pretty! What color is that painted on your wall behind the bed? It looks like a golden yellow in the pic. That is interesting what you said about the material being stiff..I was wondering that myself, about the feel of the material. Even if I did get the French Laundry Duvet (or use similar red toile fabric to have one made) I am not envisioning what kind of color should go on the walls. The only color I could imagine would be some type of cream or yellow. I am having such a mental block with this room! The key problems being, that it is so open (because of french doors) to the rest of the house so it must flow. And the other dilemma being that because of the L shape in the room, the bedding pattern will be on side of the room. I very much want to go with the pretty cream colored curtains that I posted above but still unsure if those would coordinate with any of the bedding I am considering. I need an HGTV expert to come rescue me!!! lol :)

les917 - wow you are so helpful! I like that mystique floral link you posted! This is making me realize that I have lots of options out there, just need to play with some ideas. It is interesting that you are suggesting using the seaside blue colors on the blue walls of my room...I had never thought of that. My original "vision" was to have curtains like these in the room (in creamy ivory colors; not white like in the pics)... but once I made the decision to put this wallpaper up, I fear that I am now forced to steer away from creamy ivory. I also had it in my head that I was not going to use valances. I wanted to hang panels several inches above the windows and let them loosely fall on either side of the window: The other issue which I am mulling over in my head, is the bedding. I have been considering new bedding and I need to coordinate with that as well. I need to get my pics sorted!!! lol

les917 - you are the sweetest thing ever and I think you need to move to my neighborhood to be my personal shopper!!! LOL We have a Tuesday Morning a few miles away, I wonder if they carry the same items from store to store. And I am completely addicted to this forum and would be lost without it!! I was just reading back to the thread in which people were voting on which wallpaper to choose for my room, and you had mentioned (and others agreed with you) that I needed to get bedding that would balance out the colors in the paper. You had posted a really pretty JC Penney bedding set in that thread is simply gorgeous but because I have my heart set on solid colors I am getting stuck on that and feeling discouraged...I really wanted solid color linens but just struggling as to what direction I should go. I am not opposed to introducing another pattern in the room, but really don't think I am talented enough to pick the right thing. The only patterns that I am thinking will work are ginghams or stripes (and I hate stripes). LOL

GOT LUCKY! I just ordered the Restoration Hardware Italian framed sateen duvet cover, standard sham, and euro sham in eucalyptus and brown - all totalling $104 (not including shipping and tax). She saw it. She loved it. I ordered it! Yay!
