Sounds like you and hubby aren’t on the same page. Buying a table, without ability to return is red flag to me. He bought that rug too without your involvement. The rug is wrong size and style. No photo of the table. But better sit down and talk about this and reach some compromises otherwise, these situations can fester and get ugly over time.

Just purchased new couches. Walls are light gray.Where the TV is now we’re going to be putting a bigger TV on the wall and covering the hole up. Don’t know where to start or even begin now any help would be greatly appreciated on pillows rugs lamps etc.I like rustic and traditional. And for accent colors I like blue

@freedomplace1 Your orange marking is the door and entry way. The entry way has an ugly tile flooring that I plan to use a rug to cover it. Your purple marking is the door that leads to the patio. The light switch is for the patio and living room is on the wall next to the patio door. @everdebz I will eventually add a TV. I plan to use the dining room as my office space. The desk color is black with shades of brown that matches my kitchen flooring.

The front room appears to be more of an entry room/foyer. You could consider using the designated ’bedroom’ as a combination bedroom/living room/sitting room - and, as suggested by @heathermalia, you could alternatively put a tv in the bedroom, if you are planning to have a tv. And as one idea for extra ‘living room’ seating, you could keep a stack of stackable chairs in a corner of the bedroom, with a throw over it. And I would instead set the front room space up with a round entry table, that could also double as a dining table (you could keep a couple of folding chairs on hand for when you’d like to use the table for dining). And I’d also include a bench in the space, for general entry room seating/maybe to rest bags/take off shoes, etc. And where the tv console is - up against that wall - I’d put a console table or sideboard/credenza with some art over it.
