Hi. This room has a lot of potential and you have some neutral-toned pieces to work with.

You might get a myriad of suggestions. But, I won't make a recommendation until I know what your design goals are and I can see the rest of the room. Otherwise, I am just guessing.

Would you mind:

1) take a photo of all 4 walls of the room.

2) Post a photo or at least describe what you want your room to look like.

Right off the bat I would say a larger square ottoman/coffee table would work well. I would not paint the mirror--but I would find a different spot for it. I would hate sitting where my reflection is cast all over a room.

You need a bit of gleam.......and do not paint the mirror.

A larger tufted ottoman or two might look good.

You need something large. Coffee tables are supposed to be about 12 inches from seating. I would go with square first, easiest to style. Then my second preference is round, no sharp corners to hit against.

Pull your sofa about a foot away from the windows. Jan Moyers' first round gold nesting coffee table would then be reachable from both sofas. Plus the gold finish would echo the beautiful mirror, which should absolutely not be painted. There, done.

IMO a large square table to balance the large seating might work best.

You can also place 4 smaller tables together to form one large one if you require the flexibility of moving them.

What is the purpose of the room? Watch tv? Other?

Why is the love seat instead of the sofa facing the tv?

How are you liking the height of the tv?

Would you prefer the love seat or sofa face the window?

Would you consider the tv on the large wall?

How often is that door to the left of the fireplace used?

I have moved the love seat and couch and added two chairs. How this look?

Your updated arrangement looks very nice. I agree with Beverly that you need a large square coffee table or nested version to service the two sofas. A small whimsical table between the two chairs would make sense. Coming together nicely!

How often is that door to the left of fireplace used? Would you consider

1) Moving the 2 chairs to the left side of fireplace and single chair angled at right side of fireplace

2) Leaving as is, but removing the single chair?

3) Removing single chair and placing 2 new chairs angled on each side of fireplace.

The door on the left is the master bedroom. So we use it all the time.

Okay. I would remove the chair from the left side. You might consider a bench on that left side that goes to the master (or nothing).

Is the sofa centered on the fireplace?

Too much squares in room. I would go with the round tabletop to soften hard-edged furniture.

I'd want more comfort and function with less formal 'looks' priority. Remove the pieces in favor of a 4 seat sofa with chaise on the window wall with a large square matching upholstered ottoman for expanded chaise-like use when viewing the tv. Tv relocated from the fireplace to the wall opposite the window wall. HÄRLANDA IKEA
