I bought two new throw pillows at HomeGoods for a great price. I knew I had feather allergies, but thought I would see how I reacted to the feather fill. After three days of moving them off the couch whenever I sat down (think congestion and coughing), I am now on the hunt for a good brand of synthetic fill. Also, the covers are 19” x 19”. I like a pillow that is soft and I don’t have to fluff it up after leaning on it. (my husband never fluffed the feather fill up and I saw squished pillows every morning). Do I go with a 20 x 20 or 22 x 22” to get a full look? Is down alternative going to look squished like the feather inserts did? I have used the “premier” fill from Joann fabrics and they are thin and lumpy looking. Any suggestions would be appreciated. These pillow inserts will have daily use.
