What room is this? And why keep them if your not fully satisfied.
The bench is pretty. But I hear your doubts. And I think it’s because of the couch down there. There are a lot of different styles happening.
Give us some more info. I’m sure we can come up with a better more functional plan and layout.

Thank you! This room is what I call the transitional room-it’s between the dining room and an enclave (where that brown couch Is but I plan on removing the brown couch). Honestly , we will hardly use this room but since it’s one of the first areas you see when you walk into the front door -I do want it to look visually appealing and cohesive. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Can you take better pics of the space. From the door maybe.
I’d probably make this an entrance zone. Like a console table, ottomans. You can do a big mirror with a chair or two ...

Yes, the bench looks awkward. Flip it with the hall table and then use the 5 pillows you have now. Put the stripe lumbar right in the middle; 5 is a good number.

Once the table is between the two floor lamps, put chairs a foot or so in front of it, but have the chairs facing out to the hall. Keep the floors lamps there.

Put the leather sofa in the bay with the black coffee table in front of it.

Buy a long black and white lumbar pillow for the sofa, a rug, a floor lamp and add your plant into the vignette. Like this arrangement:

What do you think?! I still have to get rug, addl lamp and pillows but I think it’s coming along nicely! Only thing is the white bench is wider than the wall. Does it look bad?

Bench/pillows look great. I actually like the bench being a bit longer. Gives it a little edge, as in modern.

Move the floors lamps a bit closer to the art…try 2 inches. Chairs look good, just turn them a bit toward each other, but still facing out. Now, something for under the console; baskets always work.

I would put the sofa in the bay window area with the black tables and the plants.

Rugs will make a huge difference and you need not spend a lot.
