Sometimes I love mix ups.
Comments (12)Musa, I have both J105 and Sherbert town, yours looks more like J105. Sherbert Town even in the Inland Empire with high summer heat does not look that colorful. J105 without intense summer heat looks like your pics. Here is a pic of my J105 blooming in Aug in cool temps: Pic of Thai Sellers Sherbert Town in Thailand: Here is a pic of Lopaka's Sherbert Town in So Florida. Here is a pic Gabby's Sherbert Town blooming during the hot summer in Riverside CA: Here is my Sherbert town blooming couple seasons ago in cool coastal temps (prob low 80's in Aug/Sept). So compare your blooms.. Who knows it maybe ST. You decide, either way she is a looker. Good Luck...See MoreDoes a regular cake mix fill a 12 up bundt pan?
Comments (11)Beanthere - I ordered three! I got the Charlotte instead of the Classic though. They are so different, I had to have them all. Merry Christmas to me? The descriptions all say 12 cup capacity. And instawares had the lowest prices and free shipping, so I think I got a great deal. $75.41 total. http://www.instawares.com/bundform-charlotte-9-12.kaf-630335.0.7.htm Thank you, Alice! I'm not a big chocolate lover, so Tunnel of Fudge doesn't call out to me, but I found some great recipes at Allrecipes and Recipezaar. I have to bring desserts to work and the bar we shoot pool at a few times a year, plus we have a lot of dinner parties - so these will make it easy! And easy to transport! I usually make crack candy or bourbon balls, this will be so much easier. And I'm going to try a meatloaf in it! Dressing will be so pretty too. Let's see, what else takes to forms........See MoreAdvice on mixing up window treatments in the same room?
Comments (13)I'd love to hear a little more about your UV roller shades, Imhappy. It sounds like they work well for you. If you were to do paperwork in your living room when the sun is blaring, could you do so comfortably? My kiddos do their schoolwork in here during the day, so I'd like it to stay bright, but not uncomfortably so. I hope the shades I linked will work well for you! : ) The reviews were mostly positive, but still a bit mixed. Thanks for the picture, Annie. Yes, I'm thinking valances might really help the situation of the differing heights of the windows, too. (Seeing this picture is helpful. I thought I liked seeing the molding at the top of the window when the blinds are up. But when I look at this particular picture, it almost feels like the blinds are jammed against the ceiling to me. Hmmmmm...) The kids and I worked on this room yesterday. It was gloomy, gray, rainy day. Thus, new pictures! : ) We wound up swapping out the desk area (above) for the play area (below), but I left both photos here so you could see how the windows relate between the slider, small window and picture window. Please excuse the building supplies and cluttered storage shelving in the sw corner. We're thinking of wrapping the corner where these things are with bookshelves. And could I get a creativity point for using building materials "decoratively" behind the play shelves? LOL We have no garage right now, so our supplies are tucked here, there, and everywhere... (The small white shelf moved after I took the pictures, too.)...See MoreAmazon’s new pilot program for Prime & Whole Foods
Comments (24)vgkg - yep, I've seen similar here. Aldi has raised their Sea Scallops twice in the last few months. They had been $9.99 for 12 oz. back in the early spring and then went up to $11.99 around May and just went up again to $13.99. Still a lot cheaper than the price you are seeing. I haven't seen snow crab for $5/lb here for over a decade. They have been in the mid teens per pound since pre-covid with an occasional sale around $10. Now I don't even bother to look at them. I'd rather have King Crab but I'm not paying what they are asking these days....See More
