Comments (10)Are the side levers ever on the left side? Many (most?) side-handle faucets can be installed with the lever on either side, or even in the front. There are a few threads here on the subject if you want to hunt for them. I always use my left hand to turn it on, too. I think a top handle would be easiest to turn on with my wrist, but the handle in front is working fine for me too. I completely agree with the 2-handle faucets being a pain. Never, never again. lol. (For me the main problem was that since I always turn on with my left hand, I was always turning on the hot water. That and not being able to use my wrist.)...See MorePull Out or Pull Down faucet ... which do you like?
Comments (19)I still love this one, weird as it is (the spray hose lies atop the gooseneck, and the neck itself has a sort of channel (for lack of a better word) on or in which the hose rests and blends in like a chameleon. When you want to use the hose you just pull it down from the nozzle clip (again, for lack of the proper word) and you're free to roam around the sink with it. When you're done, you just place it back over the neck and clip snap it back into place at the nozzle area (the nozzle is part of the hose so hose and faucet are one in the same). Sounds crazy but I've used the floor model of the bridge style deck-mounted 10" one and it was FUN to use and looked and felt very high-quality. It's solid stainless steel and made of replaceable parts. I.e. if you got tired of the hose version you could just replace the gooseneck with a standard gooseneck. The polished stainless steel looks like a cross between polished chrome and polished nickel because it's warmer than chrome (not so blue) but not as yellow as nickel. Not sure I'll get it though cause I want a wall-mounted one and I think the wall-mounted sizes are either too big or too small for my space. :( We'll see... See below for link to the 10" (19" high in total) version of the single lever style. They also have the shorter 8" version (14 3/4" high) and they also have the traditional deck-mounted bridge style in a couple of sizes as well as the wall ones and mono blocks (click on Steam Valve Originals once in there to see everything). They have really beautiful levers/wheels including both white and black porcelain. Comments (13)Granjan This head does latch on. Waterstone did have some issues with drooling when faucet was on (a small amount of water leaked around the buttons) with this model. They are re-designing the head. The head above latches on and the replacement head will also latch on. Currently, I have a different head on mine(will have to take a picture) which is a contemporary version of Holly-Kaye's. the temporary head does not latch on. Not all of the heads drool and others were not having the issue. I will try to snag a picture. Ok- I am avoiding the model as I am blanking on the numbers but I think it is the PLP 5400....See MoreKitchen Faucet--Pull Down/Out vs. Side Spray
Comments (5)Hello! We sell both the side spray and pull down spray faucets, we find that more customers are going towards the pull down spray faucets for ease of use and cleaning but that is personal preference. The quality on side spray faucets has come along way and as long as you purchase a good quality well recognized brand you will be fine. My only suggestion would be that you stop into a plumbing showroom and feel the difference between the two options as some people find the pull down spray to be more ergonomic. If you are interested in single handle pull down spray faucets check out these lines as they are very beautiful! Delta Cassidy, Kohler Artifacts & Bellera as well as the Brizo Artesso collection Hope this helps :)...See MoreHadefar H
