It's probably too late but I'll add my two cents. I put Wolf/SubZero in my kitchen in my last house. When my microwave broke a second time when it was just out of warranty, the factory said that was just wrong and they gave me a completely new convection microwave and installed it for a processing fee of $50. They made sure I was 100% satisfied. Fast forward to new house - Kitchen Aid appliances came with the house. Nice fridge, ok dishwasher but double ovens and cooktop are awful. Take too long to warm up and cool down. Really poor quality and they are only 3 years old. I wouldn't give you two cents for their cooking appliances. I think Wolf has the best cooking appliances on the market. Miele dishwashers are also the best. I hope this helps.

I have the chef model underneath a 37.5" counter, so that would be 12"- 36". I have two drawers underneath it, a very narrow one to hold its trays and a larger one that holds MWaveable containers (glass, special plastic). Personally I have no trouble with the height and bending over. I'm 5'7" and fairly active. I think it's a good height and location. I'd far rather lift heavy hot things up than downward. I bought this speed oven rather than any other specifically in order to be able to set it below-counter. It works great there, no heat issues. My only complaint is with operating the oven itself. It sports *the worst* manual I have ever seen for anything, There's a lot of button pushing, and they're finicky. Some days I wonder if the fancier machine would have been better, but the slow learning curve is starting to rise. I have no experience with another speed oven to compare, but I am not unhappy we bought this.

"Electrolux is pretty but is still a Frigidaire under the pretty." Electrolux OWNS Frigidaire not the other way around.Frigidaire is Elux's economy line! Does that mean they can't and don't make "Higher end" products?Of course not!!! I personally compared (3 of each) Miele ovens and Elux Ovens. The doors are thicker and smoother operating on the Elux's. Try pulling out a rack on both the Miele and the Elux, Only Now, is Miele beginning to use the glide out racks but I think only one is standard on their newest ones and you can buy the updated racks for the older ones now. Compare the display panel, The panel is much bigger , easier to read, and more intuitive on the Elux. The window glass is bigger and stays cooler than the Miele. Checks posts on performance of the two ovens. Elux uses actual temp sensors to tell when the oven has finished preheating, whilst Miele uses some kind of "Algorithym" if you check posts, you will see where some users say this "Algorithym" just doesn't work, when the Miele says it has finished it is no where near the temp you set it for. Read about the actual oven temps, Elux is right on the mark using any thermometer you wish. Reports here have said that the Miele can be as low as 50 degrees F from what you set it for, in fact one poster had the oven replaced and the new Miele still measured as her old one did. That can be dealt with using a "fudge factor" as far as baking goes, but is not necessary with the Elux, and in the rare even it is off by a few degrees, it can be calibrated via the wavetouch controls alto no users have posted the need to do so.The Elux is about half the price of the Miele! So Please read the various posts about the 2 ovens before typing such a statement as this: "Meile ovens are great and worth every penny." We've had the Elux Icon 30" oven/convection for more that 4 years now, trouble free, looks and cooks great, Antss and I are gonna "Do the Town" on the 2 grand I saved!! Gary

Haven't seen the Bosch, but I have the Thermador 30/18 combination and love them. I think the use of space is better than the Subzero -- at least for us. I have a Woolf Rangetop and double ovens and have been happy with them - although my oven came with a defective heating element. It seemed to be baking off a bit, but it was still at least as good as my recent ovens with one of the elements out -- I hope that says something for how well it should do with all engines firing. I have the Thermador DWs. Bought them instead of the Bosch because they were $100-150 less for the model that accepts the cabinetry panel than the Bosch equivalent. I didn't go for all the bells & Whistles, the one just below, and I'm pleased with the quiet operation and the cleaning. I didn't find a DW that had racking that seemed ideal, but the Asko and Miele seemed to be more difficult for us. My warming drawer is a Dacor because it had to fit in a 21" deep cabinet and it's the only one that will. I also like the timer so it doesn't get left on for a day or two before we remember to turn it off.
