Has anyone read "The Wardian Case"?

It's a book published by Kew Gardens and explains how plants were kept alive on long ocean voyages to get them from Asia and (I assume) the Americas to Europe.

I've only seen one once, and it was before I got back into gardening. It wasn't large and I had NO concept of what all it could do. The Wardian Case:
