Pergo vs. LVP - for closet

ellenmaureen
last year

I'm making my attic into a master suite. We'll have wood floors in most of it, but pergo or some sort of LVP for the closets. 1 closet is for clothes. And then three little crawl space-like closets for storage.

I want something that looks like wood. There won't be much foot traffic and I don't think it has to be waterproof. But I am concerned about scratches from moving bins and boxes in the crawl space areas.

I saw some pergo I like (porfolio avenue oak), but is lvp more scratch resistant? Someone at floor & decor was trying to talk up the Duralux Performance line of lvp. I don't want to overspend and end up with something I don't need, but I don't want something that is going to get ruined quickly.
