I need a to scale floor plan . To me this looks like a space that needs 2 sitting areas and maybe hink TV and FP as the two focal points for the 2 areas. I need a to scale plan showing every widow doorway where those doorways lead all measurements clearly marked and thte plan able to be enlarged. For right now IMO the bench in front of the window makes no sense .

I like your collection of global objects and the way you have created two spaces, but you don't appear to be able to make up your mind about greys or natural/tans for your color scheme. This is apparent in your rug which would like all your choices together if it had both gray and tans combined.

In general, your accent tables seem a bit undersized, & I don't see a table or floor lamp in the room at all. I might select a different piece of art over the fireplace that is not horizontal.

Thanks @BeverlyFLADeziner - this is meant to be a 'light' and neutral room. Sort of - I struggle with that because I like color and the neutral gets boring to me. I thought gray/tan would work together - I actually just bought that rug which is supposed to have the grays and browns pulled together lol. I should have pitched my idea here before buying. Thats def interesting with a more square art above the fireplace! I will have to play with that.

@Patricia Colwell Consulting - thanks for making me draw the scale diagram. Def a useful exercise! Here is an image of the measurements and the logic behind my bench/daybed. Its one of my fav spots to sit and read as its south facing and looks out into my backyard.

There is a floor lamp near the couch and one on the other corner but thats it. I love lamps but where would I put more? And spot on about the tiny accent tables- again, my attempt to keep traffic flows open.

Someday I would love to add another bookshelf by the sliding patio door and make it a ’pseudo’ library/ reading area. Should thw shelves connect though/ go to the ceiling??

We seem to see lots of great pieces. Maybe just look into getting a rug that has grey, white, and camel to help bring all of your pieces together. Please look to our first image for rug ideas and the rest of the images to show how much furniture we have in plenty of our designs.
